
Venison Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs ground venison
 - 1 cup diced carrots
 - 1 cup peas
 - 1 onion, finely chopped
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 cup beef stock
 - 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 - 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
 - 4 tbsp butter
 - ½ cup cream
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add venison and cook until browned.
 - Stir in carrots, peas, beef stock, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
 - Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender. Mash with butter, cream, salt, and pepper.
 - Layer the venison mixture in a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
