The regular firearm season has closed, but the story is far from over. Muzzleloader season begins in just two days, and here in Zone 2, the tools of the hunt include both the smoke pole and the regular rifle for 10 days.
The land speaks, and it tells us there’s work to be done. 8 to 15 does still need to be harvested from the farms, and not a single buck from our hit list has yet fallen.
