Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground venison
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add venison and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in carrots, peas, beef stock, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender. Mash with butter, cream, salt, and pepper.
  5. Layer the venison mixture in a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
