Ingredients

  • 1 lb venison steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup wild mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt, pepper, and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms in butter until softened. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add venison to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in beef broth, Dijon mustard, and sour cream. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Combine with noodles and garnish with parsley before serving.
